Above shows a screen snapshot of one of the more advanced screen phone solutions, the NEC Corus desktop software. The different modules that can be added, are shown on the left. The module we are looking at in this picture is the current calls module.

Search the phonebook alphabetically in seconds
Park & retrieve multiple calls in seconds
Record telephone conversations
See who is calling, internal or external numbers
 
See the duration of a call
Visual indication of received voicemail messages
Choose which voicemail message is played
Transfer calls to other users
Link to other databases to pull up more details

Record multiple voicemail messages such as 'I'm in a meeting', 'Away on leave', up to 1,000 different messages per user!
 
Pre-program which day, or time of day the messages are played.

Other voicemail features include
Set up different voicemail greetings based on the incoming telephone number. This allows you to personalise messages for your customers, the system will recognise the incoming number, and play a specific message to your customer, such as 'Hi bill, I'll be back in this afternoon'.
Give the option in your message to 'press 0 to be connected to the operator, press 1 for my mobile' etc, up to 9 destinations, this can also be programmed by you on screen using the Corus desktop software.
Set up distribution lists internally to deliver messages to groups of people.
